Spring is just around the corner. And summer is not far behind.. The Maritime Museum is gearing up for another busy, fun and educational season. Our summer programs are shaping up for all ages.
NJMM 10:30 am – The NJ Maritime Museum offers an hour of fun, educational activities for kids from age 3 to 13, including scavenger hunts, beach bingo, and shell decorating, contingent on the ages and number of children attending. Prizes are awarded to all participants!
ReClam the Bay 11:30 am – A clam is man’s best friend; a hands-on presentation to learn about shellfish gardening and the Barnegat Bay watershed.
Next up is the award winning Marine Science Camp
This camp is a Hands on Feet Wet Learning Experience! Seining, Deep Sea Animals, Dolphin Echolocation, Water Quality Testing, Shark Conservation, Biomechanics, Manatee Rescue Drills, Kayaking and Much More! Taught by marine biologists/environmentalists.
9am-2pm, M-F: Grades K thru 8
