Summer 2026 is finally here! After a long, cold winter, Long Beach Island is coming back to life with families heading to the beach, visitors strolling through local shops, and boaters and surfers returning to the water. There’s nothing quite like the energy and excitement that summer brings to LBI. As the season begins, the New Jersey Maritime Museum is excited to welcome both returning visitors and first-time guests. Our exhibits celebrate the rich maritime history of the Jersey Shore, featuring shipwreck artifacts, nautical treasures, models, photographs, and stories that capture the spirit of our coastal community.
The museum will now be open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Whether you are looking for a fun family activity, a break from the beach, or a chance to learn more about the fascinating maritime heritage of our area, we invite you to spend some time exploring the museum.
