NJ Maritime Museum Presentation – March 8, 2024 CLOSED

Please know that the March 8th presentation is fully booked.  There are currently no more seats available.  We can only take standby reservations in the event of a cancellation.

Please join us on Friday, March 8th at 7 pm for our next monthly presentation at Buckalew’s. Once again, our speaker will be Gene Peterson, one of our favorites. Gene is a member of the prestigious National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI), and has been teaching SCUBA since 1976. Gene is the founder of Atlantic Divers and has logged over 4900 wreck dives along the East Coast from Florida to Newfoundland. Gene’s presentation will discuss the seven most popular wrecks off Cape May, the captains and divers that inspired the transition from recreational diving to technical diving. These wrecks include a tour of the Northern Pacific, Moonstone, Varanger, City of Athens, Cherokee, Hvoslef, Jacob Jones and others.

Complimentary hor doerves and happy hour drink prices are available starting at 6 pm, and the talk will begin at 7 pm, as is usual. Reservations are required, and a $10 donation will be collected at the door to offset our expenses. Active members will have until March 2nd to reserve a seat for this presentation, after which date non-members may reserve any remaining seats. Please note – THIS PRESENTATION WILL FILL THE ROOM AND THERE WILL BE A WAITING LIST.

Reservations may be made by calling the museum at 609.492.0202 or by sending an e-mail to info@NJMM.org.  If you make a reservation and find you can’t come, please call again to let us know so others can fill your seat. This is a courtesy to those on the waiting list and to Gene.

I hope to see you there.
